The IWC-manufactured 89361 calibre which ticks at the heart of the watch’s robust 60 meter water resistant case, is equipped with a flyback function that makes measuring elapsed time remarkably hassle free.

The hour and minute chronograph functions of the IWC Yacht Club Chronograph are combined in a 12 o’clock totalizer, while the south of the dial features a small seconds sub dial highlighted in red. This function also harnesses a date aperture inside its dial. A filigree bezel and flat case ring add to the watch’s sporty undertones. In addition to this, the IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph is kitted out with a transparent caseback. Turning the watch over to its underside reveals a glass lens crafted from sapphire crystal, showcasing the highly complex work of the 89361 movement whilst in motion.
